High Point Stories are a great way to reflect on and learn from the past, whether those experiences were positive (#wins) or examples of when things don’t go as planned, but often reveal valuable learning opportunities.
When inviting a group to reflect on the past through a high point story activity, it’s always helpful to invite them to connect with and identify a specific story, example or moment in time, as a basis for their reflection. This helps to ground the participants in reality, bringing them back to a moment they’ve actually experienced.
A great way to further solidify learning from high point stories, is to invite your participants to study their own and other’s examples to find themes and ultimately create a recipe or ingredients for a successful outcome.
