He led a successful career in media sales and was on both great sales teams and lousy ones, distilling the best aspects of leadership and human behavior from a tough profession. Tom studied and sat in ceremony with Ecuadorian Shaman in the Andes Mountains and Amazon jungle, and gone deep into the teachings of David Deida, Carlos Casteneda, Joseph Campbell, John Perkins, Maturana and Varela and many others. He contemplated the Zen Koan Who Is In? at an Ashram in India and completed the first Shift Men’s Initiation in CA. Tom explored his mortality after a diagnosis of Aplastic Anemia, a potentially fatal blood disease. Spent a full month in isolation in Sloan Kettering Hospital undergoing a bone-marrow transplant. And documented the ordeal and recovery. He is a proud husband and father living in Nyack, NY.
